Need a refund?

Arcade is committed to doing our part to help stop the spread, and keep our community safe. If you’ve purchased a ticket and are feeling sick, please stay home. You can quickly and easily request a refund by filling out our form.

What is the Trust Oasis?

The Trust Oasis is an outdoor, public art space located at 133 Seventh Street, in downtown Pittsburgh that Arcade Comedy Theater is utilizing for safe, outdoor in-person shows and classes until we can welcome guests back into our theater. It is nestled between Proper Brick Oven and Howl at the Moon, across from the Greer Cabaret Theater. It’s about four blocks (a five-minute walk) from Arcade Comedy Theater.

Are you ever going back inside at 943 Liberty Ave?

We fully intend to return to doing shows and having Academy classes at 943 Liberty Avenue, when both the community and leadership at Arcade feel safer doing so. We will continue to talk to and survey our patrons and students, and stay up-to-date with health expert recommendations and local health trends. Some smaller Arcade events may be happening inside, on a case-by-case basis.

Do I have to wear a mask?

Masks are optional for fully vaccinated guests.

If you aren’t vaccinated, we ask that you please wear a proper face covering during your stay at the Oasis.

Is there BYOB?

In order to enhance the guest experience, Arcade Comedy Theater will permit patrons over the age of 21 at our outdoor Oasis weekend shows to BYOB if they choose. In order to keep our events comfortable and safe for everyone, we will be making history as the first comedy show with a 2-drink maximum. 2 beers, 2 White Claws, 2 glasses of wine, etc per person. Absolutely no hard liquor permitted.

Learn more about our Oasis BYOB Policy here.

What health and safety precautions are in place?

We’re following all state and local health and safety guidelines: masks must be worn at all times, hand sanitizer will be readily available, and patrons will be seated socially distant from each other. The stage is well over 10 feet from the nearest audience member, and the shorter show duration keeps prolonged exposure at a minimum. Please read more about our safety protocols.

What is the refund policy?

Arcade is committed to doing our part to help stop the spread, and keep our community safe. We can’t do it without your help. If you have purchased a ticket, and:

  • are feeling ill
  • have come in contact with someone with COVID-19, or suspect you may have
  • have any other COVID-19 related reason/concern

We urge you to please STAY HOME and stay safe! For our part, we will fully refund your ticket. That’s right, full refund, no questions asked. You may also have the opportunity to exchange your ticket to a future Arcade Oasis show. Arcade has a responsibility to our community, our city, and all individuals during this time.

If you need to request a refund, we just ask that you fill out this form so that we can get the process started. Refunds typically take 5-10 business days and are processed via Showclix.

What should I expect at an outdoor Oasis show?

Seeing a show outside is different from attending an event in our theater… here’s what you can expect:

  • an easy check-in experience at the entrance to the Oasis
  • clear direction to your seat by our friendly ushers
  • some city/bus noise
  • possible walkerby noise
  • an alert, proactive staff that will be available for any issues or concerns

What is the class and show schedule?

You can find all of the latest information about outdoor classes and shows on our Arcade at the Oasis main page.

Can I purchase a walk-up ticket?

Yes, if there are seats available. While we encourage contactless pre-purchasing of tickets online in advance; we are happy to assist walk-ups with purchasing a ticket if they aren’t able to access the website. Credit card purchases are highly preferred as we won’t have cash on hand at the Oasis.

Will Arcade still have online content?

Yes, we are committed to continuing to provide online entertainment and education in addition to our small outdoor events. Please click here to see our schedule of online shows and classes. Keep checking back for more updates as online shows are added all of the time. Certain Arcade at the Oasis events may be streamed live, more details to come.

Will there be a bathroom available?

Due to staffing constraints, we can not safely provide public restrooms at this time.

What happens if there is bad weather?

Please plan accordingly for outdoor shows (Bring sunscreen! Wear layers! Carry an umbrella! It’s Pittsburgh!). On evenings when there is a light sprinkle we will have extra umbrellas at our check-in table. However, if it is not possible or unsafe to perform, we will cancel and exchange/refund all tickets. Ticketholders will be notified via email in the event of a cancellation up to 90 minutes before the scheduled start of the show.

Any Sunday evening show that is cancelled will be moved to Monday if possible. In the event that both evenings are rained out, the show will be cancelled.

So Arcade is empty — can I rent it?

Maybe! We will consider rentals on a case-by-case basis, in accordance with local health and safety guidelines. If you would like to know more about rentals please email Arcade General Manager Jason Clark.

I’ve read through all of this: what are you going to do if things change or there is cause for concern?

If things change, we can as well. None of this is set in stone: it is a blueprint and guideline to slowly, safely return to in-person events that fulfill our mission. Our best chance for success is with a willingness to adapt, learn, and adjust everything we do with the safety of our community first and foremost.
