Matt Banwart is a comedian currently based out of Chicago. His debut stand up comedy album Town Kid debuted at #1 on Amazon and iTune’s comedy charts! Matt can be found working at comedy clubs across the US and regularly at comedy clubs in Chicago.
Currently, Matt is the founder and host of Roast Battle Chicago, a hit live show at the Lincoln Lodge Theatre, with an online following of over 200,000 followers
Matt has opened for SNL’s Michael Longfellow, John Rudnitsky, and Chris Kattan, as well as comedians Dan St. Germain, Jeremiah Watkins, and Chad Daniels.
Many moons ago, Matt was President of his college’s Stand Up Comedy Club, which he registered as a sorority. Marking Matt the state of Iowa’s first-ever male sorority president. He is very proud of this. Almost as proud as his father was when he won his 6th grade pinewood derby.
