Arcade Comedy Theater Celebrates 2 Years of Comedy in Downtown Pittsburgh
We’re celebrating two incredible years of comedy and creativity in the Cultural District with a weekend jam-packed with performances from local artists. Variety is the name of the game: we’ve got shortform improv, sketch comedy, music, longform improv, magic, stand-up and more all weekend long — including an all-ages kids matinee!
You can find full listings for each show below, as well as links to buy tickets! Proceeds from this weekend are going directly to help the Arcade’s non-profit mission of making comedy accessible and affordable for all audiences.
Friday, Feb 13 @ 8pm
A headlining set by Player One, the theater’s original short-form improv group — seen most recently at the O’Reilly Theater as part of the First Night celebration. The show will also feature a selection of sketch comedy from Spinster Comedy as well as a musical performance by Brad & Zoob: that’s Act Classy’s Brad Stephenson and Nathan Zoob.
Friday, Feb 13 @ 10pm
Magician Lee Terbosic returns to the Arcade for a headlining routine that combines illusion and comedy — Lee performed originally at the Arcade’s grand opening, and then again at the theater’s one-year anniversary. The show will also feature a selection of sketch comedy from The Cut Scenes, featured recently in Arcade’s wildly successful Sketchville, as well as a musical performance by the amalgamated comedy band BurgerTime.
Saturday, Feb 14 @ 1pm
A matinee performance of Penny Arcade, the theater’s interactive improv show designed for kids K-6. Children are invited to stretch their imaginations and collaborate on crafting projects, which later inspire improvisers in a series of short-form games. This weekend, the show has a special Valentine’s Day theme for kids to enjoy!
Saturday, Feb 14 @ 8pm
Pittsburgh storyteller and documentarian Rick Sebak will be sharing some true tales to inspire improv scenes performed by a cast of all-stars from the Arcade community. The show also features sketch comedy from the all-female troupe Frankly Scarlett and a musical improv performance by Arcade staples Missy Moreno and Jesse LE.
Saturday, Feb 14 @ 10pm
Featuring a strong line-up of local stand-up comedian talent, competing on teams in the Arcade’s popular Comic Wars format. Hosted by comedian Aaron Kleiber, the show will feature Matt Light, Tim Ross, Ed Bailey, Molly Sharrow, Norlex Belma, and Mike Sasson.
Sunday, Feb 15 @ 7pm
The Arcade’s weekly Bonus Stage show will feature short performances by all six of the theater’s house teams.

Donate to the Arcade
Since our grand opening two years ago, Valentine’s Weekend has been a time for us to celebrate comedy and ask for your support. Please consider donating to Pittsburgh’s only non-profit, 501(c)3 comedy theater. Proceeds and contributions go directly towards our fund to help upgrade our facilities, expand our education and outreach programs, and keep comedy affordable for all.
Thank you for your support!
